CD & DVD Manufacturing Process
Well first off, you’re probably going to want to know how much this is all going to cost right? So your first step should be to request an estimate on your project. Simply fill out the Estimate Request Form, and we will give you the low-down on the $$$. You should receive your estimate in approximately 1-3 business days. If you want custom packaging, it will take longer to get the pricing.
If the cost doesn’t concern you, (or you’ve ordered a project with the same specs and already know the cost), you can skip this step!
When you receive your estimate and like what you see, you will probably feel ready to Place Your Order.
When your order is placed, we will then require you to send us the following:
• Payment - Full payment of your order is due before your materials are sent off to the manufacturers.
• Artwork files.
• Audio master.
• Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Form - Download HERE.
You can send us your Audio Master along with the IPR Form via courier, mail or bring it to us in person. Audio master CD format should be “Red Book Standard”. We do not accept mp3’s or audio files sent online.
You can upload the artwork files to us via FTP, or send them to us on a cd / dvd-r in the mail.
VERY IMPORTANT!
• Artwork must be setup using our Templates.
• Files must adhere to our Artwork Specifications.
• To ensure fast processing please follow our File Setup Guidelines.
Once your order has been sent off, we will receive PDF proofs of the packaging artwork and disc face via email from the printer. This usually takes approx 1-3 business days. Both of these will require approval via email from you before everything is sent to press.
So now you must wait patiently for approximately 2-3 business weeks (wait depends on complexity of the project). We will contact you when your order is ready to ship.
When your order is finished your cds will be shipped to your door.
